Eclipsespirit padded along to the Celestial Pool. Four other cats with her. It is time for the leaders to recieve their nine lives. Head held high, her moved confidently through the waxing shadows. The growl longer by the minute. Scarlet red eyes gleaming with anticipation and fear. Hunger pains gnarled in the pit of her stomach, leafbare is in full swing, and the fact that no one can eat before going to the Celestial Pool made Eclipsespirit a very hungery cat. Friends beside her, she sucked it up and continued on. They could already see the hollow that protected the Celestial Pool. In meer moments they would all be true leaders.

Twilightspirit was stalking next to eclpisespirit. His multi colored pelt was smooth and glimmering in the moonlight. his white muzzle and toes were clearly visible in the shine and his electric blue eyes gleaming with excitement for he would be a true leader by morning. He turned his head over to eclipsespirit and nodded. "are you ready for this?" he meowed.

A cold wind tugged at her pelt as she exhaled. Not too long from now the land would be lush and green. Hunting would be plentiful, and cats could be found easier. Lifting her head to the sky she prayed to be a good leader to her clan, and to use each of her lives to the best of her abilities. Twitching her ear back to Twilightspirit she listen to his question intently.
Eclipsespirit simply smirked good naturedly, "I was born ready." A non-chalante' responce to a question that unnerved her deeply. Is she truely ready to lead her clan to glory? Or would the crash like their predisessers? Shaking her head she glanced at him, her blood red eyes meeting his cool blue eyes. "To be truthful, I am kinda scared. What if we aren't made to be leaders?" A worried frown played across the black cat's face as she tromped through the snow.

Twilightspirit closed his eye for a moment as her listened to her replies. After a couple of moments of silence and thinking he opened his eyes and looked at her deeply. "If we are called fakes by our new clan mates then they can kiss my tail." he growled. "i was trained for this, as the rest of us." He meowed now, his voice in its regular, deep tone. "I will not stand down from my position because of any small mistakes I make." he said, his voice more of a dream like state then normal. He shook his head. "Lets just be happy that we were chosen and that we can lead our clans to whatever their futures may be." he meowed again before looking forward. He wished that the journey wasn't so long, but oh well.

She twitched her ears to his first comment, a small smile replacing the frown on her face. The black she-cat nodded to his other comments and lifed her head higher. The journey may be long, and the road ahead bleak, but they were chosen to be the leaders. Their mentors selected them from a veriaty of backgrounds, and now they were on the path to a brighter, or darker future, only CelestialClan would know. The other two leaders to be where silent, so opening her maw, the black cat mewed, "Hey you two, don't fall behind! We can't start the ceremony without you!" She nearly yowled it at them, turning back to look a devious glint in her blood red eyes. Soon the entire world would know them by name. The First Leaders. Eclipsespirit liked the ring to that.

He rolled his blue orbs at Eclipsespirit's evident impatience. Then again they were going to receive their nine lives and become true leader's very shortly. At the sudden realization a small cat-like smile played upon his broad muzzle, then quickly vanished. "Don't worry I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing. He replied to her comment in a light tone meaning nothing by it. Just to keep the other's content he lengthened his stride and began to close the gap between them in not time at all. [/blockquote]

Twilightspirit flicked his tail tip becoming more impatient now. "I feel like this trip is never going to end." He meowed impatiently. His pelt was again ruffled by a breeze and twilightspirit was almost wondering if it was celestialclan making him a sign? he snorted in laughter at his thoughts. 'I'm just being a little paranoid.' he thought to himself foolishly. He rested his gaze up on a dark cloud in the night sky. it was thin and misty but not covering the moon. "It is very nice out tonight." he mumbled half to himself.

Finally they arrived at their destination. The Celestial Pool. Already, a briliant glow was beginning to shine of the surrounding area. As if a star had fallen into a pool of beautiful water. A soft sigh escaped her maw, moving forward at a slow but steady pace, her briliant red eyes glowing in the light. Awe gleaming in the two orbs. It was time, soon they would all become leaders. Very soon.
Walking into the hollow with her peers, the little black leader lied down infront of the pool, all of the others doing the same, touching the water with her nose, small ripples forming around the point of impact. Closing her eyes, Eclipsespirit became cold, she felt as if she was dieing. Her old life was being stripped away. Soon she blinked her eyes open only to find herself in the Five Point Clearing. The other leaders where gone, and only nine cats stood in the clearing with her.
They all seemed to mew at once, a strange echoing mew,
"Welcome, Eclipsespirit. Are you ready to receive your nine lives?"
bowing her head the black she-cat mewed,
"Yes, I’m ready."
Nightstar, a former ShadowClan leader stepped forward, touched his nose to the black leader's and mewed,
"With this life I give you courage. Use it well in the defense of your Clan."
Pain surged through her body, the feeling of the hunt, and the thrill of battle, she felt alive, but as it ebbed she panted slightly. The next cat to step forward was Yellowfang, a Medicine Cat of ThunderClan, and of ShadowClan. She touched her nose to the younger she-cat and mewed in her grissly voice,
"With this life I give you justice. Use it well as you judge the actions of others."
Pain surged through her body along with power. Already she felt like a leaf filled with water about to spill over. Two lives in. The next cat to step forward was a young ShadowClan warrior, Tigerheart, he touched noses with her and mewed,
"With this life I give you loyalty to what you know to be right. Use it well to guide your Clan in times of trouble."
Pain flew through her, but less than before, and it was over quickly. Next her eldest brother, Patron, stepped forward, a big goofy grin on his face. Leaning down he rested his muzzle on her head and mewed,
"With this life I give you tireless energy. Use it well to carry out the duties of a leader."
As the pain rushed into her, a feeling of speed tingled into her pelt. Singing into her being. When it was over her mother, Frozen, stepped forward, a motherly smile on her face as she touched noses with her and mewed,
"With this life I give you protection. Use it well to care for you Clan as a mother cares for her kits."
Eclipsespirit thought the life would be soft and loving, but it caught her off guard. Sucking in a deep breath she realized that all mothers protected their kits with their lives. She saw tiny little ones at her feet and felt that protection overthem swirl around her, ferocity torwards anyone, or anything that wanted to hurt them. Her father stepped forward, a lingering sense of ferocity still burning in her paws. Touching his muzzle to her head and spoke,
"With this life I give you mentoring. Use it well to train the young cats of your Clan."
A new pain raced through her body, burning her limbs and making her squeeze her eyes shut. As it ebbed he paused to look at her and mewed,
"I am proud of you my daughter."
Her one of her elder brother, Tadpole moved forward, his head held high, touching his nose to Eclipsespirit's he mewed
"With this life I give you compassion. Use it well for the elders of you Clan, and the sick, and all those weaker than yourself."
A flash of searing pain raced through her, but as her brother Tadpole stepped back and the pain ebbed away, a face she hadn't seen in many a season. Fabel, her beloved. Smiling in his carefree way he touched noses with her, she whispered to him horsely, tears glistening in her eyes,
"I though I would never see you again!"
Looking at her with his deep green eyes, softening with love he touched his nose to her's and spoke,
"With this life I give you love. Use it well for all the cats in your care."
The feeling of sweet love washed over her. It was like a soft greenleaf breeze. Then Laststar stepped forward, as Fabel stepped back, a small smile on his face. Touching his muzzle to the top of her head, Laststar spoke,
"With this life I give you nobility and certainty and faith. Use it well as you lead your Clan in the ways of CelestialClan and the warrior code."
Blinding pain filled her limbs, the last life, the most painful of them all. It was all over in a matter of seconds as Laststar signaled Eclipsespirit to rise; she obliges.
"I hail you by your new name, Eclipsespirit. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader, and CelestialClan grants you the guardianship of EclipseClan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity."
Eclipsespirit bowed her head as the CelestialClan cats chanted her new name. EclipseClan has a true leader now.

Twilightspirit grinned as they reached their final destination. Lapping up a tiny sip of water sleepiness flooded over his body.
The multi colored tom lifted his head and opened his electric blue eyes to see a starry clearing with huge oaks surrounding it. Twilight gasped as nine starry figures became visible in the moonlit clearing. He couldn't make out any pelt colors or even eye color until the first cat approached.
A former thunderclan medicine cat, spottedleaf, strode up to twilight with a cat like smile on her face. "Greetings." she meowed, her voice like the mornings bird song, sweet and cheerful. "With this life I give you bravery. Use it in a time of battle or need." she mewed with a fierce glint in her gaze for half a moment before a horrible pain surged through the toms body.
After the pain ended and twilightspirit had regained focus the next cat waltzed up. It was Brambleclaw, a former thunderclan deputy. He hardly spoke. "With this life i give you wisdom, use it well it organize your clan." he meowed, touching his nose to twilights sending more pain through his muscles. Brambleclaw took a seat next to Spottedleaf.
Twilightspirit watched the next cat stalk up to him. It was Lionblaze, a former thunderclan warrior. "With this life i give you strength, use it to protect your clan in battle." The tom took a seat to the right of twilight instead of sitting with spottedleaf and brambleclaw. The pain from this new life was by far the worst so far, surging through his entire body and causing him to lift his head, though no sound a silent yowl escaped him.
The next cat was his mother, Hare. "With this life i give you love." twilightspirit smiled as his mother licked his cheek, then she touched her nose to his sending yet another pain through his body. He watched he take a seat next to lionblaze.
His father, leopard, padded up to twilight, his eyes gleaming pride. "With this life i give you endless speed, always use this to catch prey, or in battle." he meowed before touching noses with twilight, giving not pain but a more refreshing feeling throughout his veins. Leopard quickly sat next to Hare licking her cheek before both of them looked up again to watch their son.
Next up was actually a former rouge buddy of his, Leo, a white tom with a black face and brownish black tail. Though leo and twilight had only been friends a moons they had gotten to know each other well. The little white, black and brown tom touched his nose to twilights. "With this life i give you hope, use this in the most gloomy of times to lift your clans spirits." he meowed sending yet another refreshing feeling through twilights body. Leo soon took a seat next to twilights parents.
Next up was a former riverclan cat, feathertail. Touching her nose to his she spoke. her voice soft, almost like a whisper. "with this life i give you knowledge, use this to think of new battle and hunting strategies." she meowed, sitting with brambleclaw and spottedleaf. Her life gave him yet again pain, mainly towards his head as if it was filling up with tons of new strategies and plans.
One of the final cats was Bluestar, a very well known thunderclan leader. she stalked right up to him, touching noses with him. "with this life i give you trust. use this even on cats outside your clan, to give everyone a chance." she meowed, referring to a former kittypet she had brought into the clan, named rusty, who grew to be thunderclans leader. Her life was a mixture of pain and coldness. She sat next to brambleclaw, spottedleaf and feathertail.
And the last figure slithered its way over to twilightspirit, Lastclaw! Twilight smiled as he saw his former mentor. But lastclaw looked serious, touching his nose to twilights he spoke. "With this life i give you justness, honor and respect. use this to lead and trust your clan until the day you loose it." he meowed his life bringing the absolute pain twilight had ever encountered before.
All the cats rose. Lastclaw speaking with a clear and powerful tone. "I hail you by your new name, Twilightspirit. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader, and CelestiealClan grants to you the guardianship of Twilightclan. Defend it well; care for the young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code, and live each life with pride and dignity." All nine cats started chanting twilightspirits new name all with proud and happy faces and their eyes and starry pelts gleaming.

The large tom solemnly entered the hollow already sensing it's powerful connection to his ancestors. He carefully lowered into a crouch, and closed his eyes following the example of the other leader's he stretched out his neck and touched the tip of the icy water with his nose. All at once his breathing slowed, and he became aware of a cold sensation numbing his entire body.
He awoke with a start opening his cool blue eyes in a flash. The fur on his neck rose as he caught sight of exactly nine starry feline shapes, to hazy to make out from this distance. With a jolt he realized that he was among the non-living or among the spirits of CelestialClan.
All at once a deep meow interrupted his thoughts making him stare face-to-face with a solid grey tom built much like himself. In a few brief moments he noted the tom's pelt was littered with an assortment of scar's telling of many different battle's from long ago."Greetings,Moonlightspirit." Stonefur a former deputy of the old RiverClan said with a slight dip of his head. "Are, you ready to become a leader?"
As he gazed at the fellow tom he felt a great certainty overcome him. "Of course."
With ease Stonefur stretched out his neck and briefly touched noses with Moonlightspirit. "With this life I give you bravery. Use it in the toughest situations."
At first he felt a deep boldness as if he could face the toughest thing that existed and not be shaken. Then the feeling ebbed away to be replaced with a sharp pain that made him want to release a sharp yowl. But, he kept himself together knowing he had 8 more times to experience sensations close to this.
In the tom's place was a slender grey she-cat, her blue eyes glowing with warmth. It was a famous medicine cat known as Willowshine. She silently strode forward then touched his nose as Stonefur had done. "With this life I give you kindness, to care for the most fragile in your Clan." Her voice was soft, just above a whisper so he thought this one would be less intense. He was mistaken.
A emotion welled within him almost along the lines of compassion, one he hadn't felt for quite some time. It made the hair's on his pelt stand on end, and he found himself digging his unsheathed claws into the ground. Just as quickly as it had begun it ceased and he let forth a sigh of relief waiting for the next cat to step forward.
Like the first one this feline that stood before him was small, but instead of a youthful gleam in her blue orbs he found a wisdom that surpassed her appearance. The she-cat appropriately named Silverstream stepped forwarded lightly touching noses with him. "With this life I give you wisdom. Use it to make the hardest decisions.
This one was in itself overpowering yet it contained a softer feeling not quite as strong as the others. He found many images flashing before his eyes ones that were not conjured from his own mind. A sudden realization glowed in his eyes as he concluded these were not his but Silverstream's. It soon ended leaving him with a strange sort of longing as if he wished the experience to continue for quite some time.
Before he could utter a single word to the warrior he found that another cat had taken her place, though this time it was one he remembered all to well. His father stared back at him with shining blue orbs full of pride. "Hello, son." He murmured quietly as he came forward gently touching noses with his kin. "With this life I give you peace. Use it well to keep every cat under your care at ease."
His pelt tingled as a fierce pain shot through his body making him let out a silent yowl of protest. This was by far the most painful of them all. It was truly ironic, but after a few moments the pain ceased, replaced by a calmness that he had never felt before.
When he next looked up a small pale grey she-cat stood before him simply gazing at him with loving yellow eyes. This was a she-cat he had never before laid eyes on yet he instantly knew it was his mother. She flashed him a cat-like smile and warmly touched noses with him. "With this life I give you love, use it towards all the cat's of your Clan." Her voice was soft and she stepped back.
It seemed he was about to be corrected this was the life that hurt the most, in ways deeper then he could fathom. He was filled with a fierce pain one that made even the worst wound inflicted upon him merely nothing in comparison. As soon as he was certain he couldn't handle it any longer it ended leaving behind an overwhelming sense of love that made him want to care for the few cat's he felt dear to him. As he was about to question his mother he realized she was gone and another cat was standing before him.
The lithe jet black she-cat flashed him a lopsided grin, her yellow eyes sparkling with an everlasting amusement. His closest friend, Shadow and sibling stood before him, just like he remembered her to be. "Hey, Moonlight." She said in her usual cocky way, touching noses with him. Then her tone took on a more serious note, and her smile vanished. "Wish this life I give you honesty, so you will not keep even the most dreadful secrets from your Clan."
Despite his initial joy he found another pain shooting through him though it was dull in comparison to the previous two. His fur prickled as he was filled with the urge to utter all his wrongs, to keep nothing from his Clan. It was just as his sister had said. Then it vanished, and strangely enough he was okay with that.
The cat before him was a solid tom, his pelt glowing as if it were truly fire. A playful look gleamed in his green orbs, and Moonlightspirit instantly recognized his good friend friend, Dante. The two had been quite close in their younger years though after awhile they had lost touch. These memories passed through him as his friend came up and touched noses. "With this life I give you endless energy, to fight the toughest battles, and govern your Clan through turmoil."
This one was the most rewarding, he felt renewed as if he had slept for a long while and could run forever. It also brought along a fierce pain one that burned inside his chest as intense as fire itself. He visibly winced and once again dug his long ebony claws into the ground. Then it was over, thankfully.
A large tom stared at him, with calm green eyes. The feline held his head high and didn't seem to care as Moonlightspirit's eyes fixed on his odd jaw. This was no one other then Crookedstar one of RiverClan's best leader's to ever rule. With a practiced ease he padded forward touching noses with him, and uttering in a low tone. "With this life I give you patience. Use it towards the cat's that annoy you the most." There was almost a purr of amusement in his tone as if he knew all to well how hard governing a Clan was. With that he withdrew taking his place beside the other 7 cat's.
The sensation was at first a slight tingle beginning at his nose then increased to a burning sensation, in his gut. Strangely enough he found this life contending even through the pain. It lasted a little bit longer then the rested then ebbed away leaving the leader satisfied.
Finally the very last and most important cat walked up to Moonlightspirit. It was the cat that had brought him this far, mentored him in the ways of the Clans, and most importantly made the leader into a noble tom. The cat standing before him was Lastherb the last true descendant of RiverClan. He gave Moonlightspirit a rare smile as he touched noses, and uttered in a loud commanding tone. "With this life I give you integrity, justice, and authority. Use it to govern your Clan your very best until you shall one day join us."
A pain worse then all of them combined burned in his entire being. It was a bunch of indescribable emotions at once. For one moment he was filled with joy, and the next a terrible sadness. It lasted for what seemed an eternity and he wasn't sure how he could cope with it any longer. Then it began to slowly dissipate until it became just a dull ache.
Before he could express some sort of feeling a loud booming meow of Lastherb roared in his ears. ""I hail you by your new name, Moonlightspirit. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader, and CelestialClan grants you the guardianship of MoonlightClan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity." After the words were uttered each cat in the hollow chanted his named in a loud voice and his chest swelled with pride.
He dipped his head to each of them in turn, though his gaze lingered the longest on Lastherb. A sudden realization sunk into the tom as he understood he was the very first leader of MoonlightClan. He promised himself that he would lead his Clan to th very best of his ability, he was truly a leader.

((OOC: Haha, sorry~ REALLY late reply. ))
~Breakingspirit
::The other leaders were already receiving their nine lives as Breakingspirit had finally caught up with them. Envy struck through her, but the tortoiseshell did not wait. She immediately food a spot next to Twilightspirit. Closing her eyes, she drifted into sleep.
A soft wind jolted the stubby tailed leader awake. Blinking she opened her eyes, astonished of how fast it had taken for CelestialClan warriors to summon her. At first, a slight fog was surrounding her. Her head was spinning a bit but she kept her ears pricked and her eyes alert.
"Hello?" Called the small tortoiseshell leader "Hello?" She called again, louder this time. Still no answer. Unsureness struck Breakingspirit like a dogs jaws. What if she was not destined to be the true leader of Breaki- The stubby tailed she-cat's though was cut short as a ghostly stepped forward through the growing mist. Squinting her eyes, Breakingspirit made it out to be Onestar, former WindClan Leader.
The ancient cat's voice loomed over the slight wind and drifted into her ears "Welcome Breakingspirit" mewed the soft and quiet voice, almost greeting the young leader "Are you prepared to receive your nine lives?" The former leader prompted, a touch of happiness in the old cats mew.
Nodding her head Breakingspirit awaited for what was next.
Smiling, the tom spoke once more, his voice calming and soothing;
"In this life, Breakingspirit, you will receive wisdom. Use it to make the right decisions and to keep as much blood from spilling as you can" Meowed Onestar, as he stepped forward to touch noses with the young she-cat.
At the moment of contact, a surge of pain and power bolted through the BreakingClan leader's body, entwining the forces from head to tail. Such feeling made Breakingspirit feel week in the knees, though she stayed up right.
Opening her eyes, there, standing in front of her was not Onestar but a different cat. A tom with a twisted and dead foot.
The tortoiseshell didn't recognize the new tom at first, and then it hit her. It was Deadfoot, the former WindClan Deputy.dipping his head, the tom spoke in a strong, yet compassionate voice;
"In this life, I give you strength, to overcome even the worst of problems you may face."
Bracing herself as the Deputy touched her nose, another spasm flew through her body.
As she opened her eyes, the tortoiseshell saw nothing. Glancing around, a small fluffy bundle caught the corner of her eye. Looking down, the BreakingClan leader saw a small kit. Adderkit, she believed, whom had died after being bitten by a deadly snake.
The kit spoke with a strong and peaceful voice, echoing in the distance "With this life, I give you compassion. Use it to protect those who are weaker then you."
Arching her neck Breakingspirit touched noses with the kit as a third spasm went through the tortoiseshell's body.
The next cat scented strongly of herbs. Blinking, the tortoiseshell noticed it was Kestrelflight, former WindClan Medicine cat. Softness gripped the tom's voice;
"With this life, I give you loyalty. Use it to keep your clan strong, no matter what"
Yet again, the leader touched noses as a violent wave passed through her.
And with that, a white she-cat stood in front of the drowsy Breakingspirit. Whitetail, she believed.
"Greetings." She mewed her voice sweet and kind "With this life i give you bravery. Know to use it when it is needed"
Touching noses, a sweet scent drifted from the white she-cat as yet another wave moved through her leader.
Once again, the cycle repeated, and a new cat stood infront of her. This time it was Rabbitstar, former WindClan leader, many many seasons ago
With a grunt, the former leader spoke, head held high "With this life, I give you respect. Use it to lead your clan and keep it strong."
As the two touched noses, it was hard for Breakingspirit to stifle a sneeze. The tom's nose was hard and scratchy against her own. And with that, a sixth wave of pain and strength move through her.
With that, a black tom appeared. He seemed unforgiving and close to biting her head off with is stone cold gaze. But, his gaze softened and he spoke with a brisk voice. The tom was Crowfeather.
"In this life, I give you guidance. Share it with you clan mates and brighten the path ahead of you."
Pressing her nose to the ancient warriors, Breakingspirit closed her eyes. Her seventh life filling her body in a violent torrent of power and strength.
As the tom padded away, a blind tabby tom took his place. The strong scent of herbs suggested it was Jayfeather, the half ThunderClan and half WindClan cat. With a grunt, the tom spoke;
"In this life I give you pride. Use it where ever you are and teach it to your clan mates."
Pressing noses against the blind tom, Breakingspirit felt strongly connected to the tom, even though they really had no relationship. And with another wave, she had received her eighth life. The stubby tailed she-cats last life was waiting in the thick mist.
And finally, the last cat appeared. Breakingspirit grew wide eyed as she distinguished the starlit she-cat swapping places with Jayfeather. It was Wind! The she-cat whom had help make the four clans in the first place.
The ancient she-cat was beautiful. and her voice was silk and sweet as it drifted through the growing breeze.
"Greetings Breakingspirit" Mewed the she-cat "You have come along way. Before I give you your final life, I must say thank you"
Stunned, the tortoiseshell spoke, her voice a tad ragged from all of the jolts. "Greetings Wind. I am honored that you would be here to give me my ninth life." Breakingspirit smiled, dipping her head as the long dead WindClan cat stepped closer
"I give you your ninth life. It is Leadership. With this, you will leader your clan through any battle. You will rise above the others, but help them to succeed."
And with that, the two she-cats touched noses. The jolt was so strong, Breakingspirit's legs almost gave out. Such a jolt made her shudder.
And after it was over, Wind spoke once more, as she slowly faded to the mist "Lead your clan strong. i have faith in you Breakingspirit."
And with that, the BreakingClan leader had blacked out, though a thought still lingered in her mind. She was now, the official leader of BreakingClan.
((OOC: Sorry, it's sorta plain and ugly. . .))
