(this was supposed to be last night)
Owlmask strode up to the celestial pool, his brown, black and tan pelt glimmering in the moonlight along with his green eyes. His eyes flickered hearing an owl off in the distance.
He was a little nervous about this night. It was the first medicine meeting cat meeting between the clans and he needed to make a good impressions for moonlightclan with it being so small right now.
He turned his head to see if remedypaw had been able to keep pace with him or not, hoping his apprentice wouldn't get lost if she hadn't.

Remedypaw walked along beside him, her eyes wide with excitment. This is her very first Halfmoon Meeting. The Celestial pool already glowing dimly in the moonlight. Pausing to look in the direction of the hooting howl her ears flattening slightly with fear as her pelt rose up in stiff spikes. Shaking her head she contiued on her head low, what if the other medicine cats didn't like her? Sighing slightly she glanced up at Owlmask. Tilting her head to the left she asked, "Are we almost to the Celestial Pool?" Excitment and fear gleamed in her eyes.

Flickrefern stepped out of the shadows. "greetings, Owlmask, Remedypaw. How is Moonlightclan? (?)" she purred, waving her tail in a friendly hello. Flikcerfern smiled, then turned around, her ears swiveled back to hear their answer. She walked quietly up to the pool, then stopped shocked by the wonders of it. It was so clear, the stars reflected perfectly, and the water was unmoving showing only the reflection of their starry ancestors.

Owlmask nodded at remedypaw. "yes, we're here." he mewed.
Owlmask ears swiveled as he heard a new voice behind him. He turned his around to see a calico she-cat looking at the pool. She smells of grass and by her slightly ruffled fur he knows shes from breakingclan, his guess was flickerfern their medicine cat. "Greetings, flickerfern, yes?" he asked casually, trying his best to be friendly and social. He looked at remedypaw and flicked his tail for her to step up so he could introduce her to the fellow medicine cat. He then remembered her question. "Oh, moonlightclan is doing great. We're growing steadily." he lied, now wasn't the time to show weakness, peaceful meeting or not.

Owlmask smiled in a cat like way and placed his tail on her back reassuringly. he purred in amusement. "Don't be afraid, remedy." he mewed flicking his tail tip over her nose. "Its just us medicine cats." he said and looked up at flickerfern with a real, big grin on his face. "Oh apprentices, so..silly." he mewed choosing his words to be a joke, but not to offensive to his own apprentice glancing at her one more time. 'Where are the other medicine cats?' he wondered quickly.

FLickerfern crouched down, her lips drawn back in a snarl "oh those pesky youngins..." she stood up, smiling. "No I'm just kidding. And yes, I am Flickerfern. I'm glad to hear your Clan is doing well, mine is not that good I'm afraid. She stood face to face with Remedypaw. "Don't worry, love, your right, a medicine cat won't hurt you. I just noticed you were somewhat nervous... don't know what i was thinking." she ran around in a circle. "Let's get this part started!" she yowled, dashing over to the pool.

((Fine. But I am not happy about it.))
Afterlife pelted towards the others. "Hey! Wait up!" he meowed. "Hello, Owlmask. I see that you've found an apprentice." He flicked his tail along the young apprentice's flank and meowed, "Welcome to the Celestial Pool." He padded forward, his snow-white pelt glimmering in the half-light. He smelled water, and knew they were close to the best place to think. The Celestial Pool. The Pool of Stars. The Moonlight Pond. The place had many names in his mind, but his favorite was the Breaking Point. That's what it was; a breaking point. The veil between spirit and physical. The only place that there was certainly peace.
((Bree, do I have your permission to have Afterlife gain his Gift here?))

Flickerfern touched her nose to the pool, lieing down beside the other medicine cats. She awaited sleep, her dappled pelt ruffling in the breeze. Soon sleep overtook her, and she found herself in a beautiful moorland, the smell of hopping rabbits everywhere.

Owlmask dipped his head at the fellow medicine cat, afterlife. Wasting no more time he got in a comfortable position next to the pool. He lapped up a couple small, refreshing things of the pools icy cold water. It took no time for Owlmask to close his eyes as sleep overtook his veins.
The brown and black tabby woke up in some strange land. He was on an island of sort, in between a river. He heard a whisper and shook his pelt in nervousness as he felt the touch of a cat on his shoulder. He heard another whisper, turning around this time to see a serious looking brown tom. "who are you?" he growled, but he knew not to act to fierce, this cat's fur had slightly faded, and at his paws was lightish dust or something, making him know it was a starclan cat.
The brown tom smiled in a cat like way, standing up and appearing quickly next to owlmask as though he had teleported. (i know they dont do that in the books but im adding coolness XP) He rested his brown tail on owlmask's back. "Do not fear me, Owlmask, I am a friend." he meowed. Owlmask didn't let his guard down. The brown tom rolled his eyes. "I am mudfur, former medicine cat of riverclan." he meowed, continuing on. "I have come to give you your power." he mewed with a gleam in his eyes that only a true medicine cat could get. A gleam that showed pride, happiness, relief and worry all mixed together. Owlmask growled, confused, worried, nervous. "What powers?!" he growled. Mudfur hissed and stomped his foot causing a small rumble around his body. "ENOUGH!" Mudfur's yowl echoed out. Owlmask's eyes widened in fear, he leaped back, 'shrinking' in fear like a kit.
Mudfur nodded. "Much better." he meowed in a deep tone, padding forward. "I'm giving you your powers as a medicine cat." he meowed before touching noses with owlmask. Owl could feel his fur being ruffled as if wind were blowing on him. He felt power rise in his body, his blood rushing. His eyes shone brighter, his claws extending, long, like a leopard. But it didn't last long. Soon ending owlmask was back to normal, but he still felt odd. He felt like with one touch he could make a cat's illness fade instantly, make broken bones mend automatically. He felt like no cat could ever die from injury at his paws.
Mudfur dipped his head. "I have given you the power to do two things." he meowed. "One, you can now find any illness or injury in a cats body just by being calm and connecting with the cat's mind." he meowed revealing the first power. "Two, you have to power to make any herb come back to life." he meowed. "This does not mean grow, you cannot make herbs sprout out of the ground, but you can restore their healing juices and abilities." he mewed. He teleported back onto a flat rock on the shore. "Leave now, you first task has been finished. go home, heal your clan. And never give up on yourself." he meowed before disappearing, going among the stars.
Owlmask awoke with a gasp. He opened his green eyes to see his apprentice already awake. "We will wait for the others to awaken." he meowed sitting up and grooming his pelt, which had somehow gotten ruffled like in his vision.
(merp, just saw there are only two powers in the powers guide so ignore the powers i put down because i refuse to think of something else to write, messing up my extrmely long post that took me..idk...a long time

((Ha ha! I've figured you out twice now! )) Afterlife touched his nose to the pool and lied down. As soon as his eyelids shut, he was thrust into a dream. It was the home of the Clans. But...happier. And filled with cats. Scents of the Old Clans mingled with that of the New, and different Clans mingled with each other. A cat padded forth to him. "Hello, Afterlife." he mewed in greeting. "Welcome to CelestialClan. I think it's due time you get your Gift. Come." The cat lead Afterlife through a series of tree tunnels until they met at a grassy clearing. "This is the birthplace of the Old Clans; ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, and SkyClan. This was the First Battlefield and the First Campsite. But now, it is a sanctuary." the cat meowed, lost in distant memory. "Here is where you will recieve your Gifts." "Gifts?" Afterlife asked. "Yes, Gifts. These gifts will be given to you because of who you are. They reflect you. They define you. And mostly, they both strengthen and weaken you." Two other cats joined the pair; one a pretty tortoishell she-cat and the other a flame-pelted tom. "I am Spottedleaf. A very old medicine cat of ThunderClan. I am so pleased to meet you." the tortoishell mewed. Afterlife noted the faint trail of mist that followed her movements. "I am Fireheart. One of the very recently deceased ThunderClan leaders." The flame-colored one stated. "Oh, how rude of me! My name is Brambleclaw; one of ThunderClan's dead deputies." His guide indicated. They all concentrated now. Spottedleaf stepped up. "With this Gift, I give you life-bringing. May you use it to breathe life into the most black of plants." Brambleclaw padded forward, "With this Gift, I give you the healing touch. May you use it to heal grevious wounds. But beware; you need to understand the pain before it can leave." It was Firehearts turn; "With this Gift, I give you the Burning Gaze. May you use it in times of great distress on your opponents." "We give you these Gifts, and bind them to your soul. Welcome to the Clans." They mewed in unison. And Afterlife woke. "Wow. That was...different." he said unecessarily. He yawned and layed to rest, his eyes strongly fixed on the reflection of the pool.

[Shut your mouth! I know how to spell scared! The spell check on my laptop doesn't work!]
Remedypaw stepped forward, her head bowed looking up at the new cat though her eyelashes. She shuffled her paws and kept glancing down, embarrassed and fearful. New cats always scared her. But this is a medicine cat, she wouldn't hurt her. All medicine cats take an oath not to kill only to heal. Did that go for just her clan or all of them? Keeping her thoughts to herself she settled on looking at her paws, chanting how to heal wounds in her mind. Then moving on to coughs and colds. Repeat. Over and over. Nerves always made her repeat information. Absent mindfully she thought to herself, 'Maybe I should have eaten some thyme to calm down a little..' She glanced at her mentor quickly for reassurance.

[Darn I have been figured out. All of the Medicine Cats will receive their powers tonight.]
Remedypaw shrank from the touch, but allowed it. Turning her focus on the pool, her blue eyes seeming to glow. She could feel the cats surging around her, purrs and growl, voices all talking at once. All saying for her to lie down in front of the pool. To drink from the water. And she obeyed. Lying down, drinking from the pool she closed her eyes and quickly fell asleep. The feeling of sinking coursed through her as the cold night air disappeared and was replaced by a sweet warm breeze. Slowly she opened them, the ocean blue color contrasting with the brilliant jade greens. An old RiverClan medicine cat standing before her. A sense of peace fell over her.
The Medicine Cat stepped forward and mewed, "Welcome Remedypaw, my name is Willowshine. I will be helping you with your powers and your training." Remedypaw tilted her head and asked, "Powers? What powers?" A sad smile formed on the medicine cat's face. Confusion swiped over the little apprentice as she touched noses with her. Remedypaw's body went ridged as pain seeped into her. Filling her with power and knowledge. She could feel all of the emotions around her; Dreamthought, and through touch she could transfer her memories; Transtouch, Remedypaw could also control water. But new information on healing kept springing into her mind. She felt as if she could heal any wound or illness. Summon any plant on command. Gasping at it all she backed up, the powers surging in her body. She felt sick. "W-what did you do to me?" That sad smile. That stupid sad smile. "I gave you the powers that are rightfully yours. Dreamthought; Transtouch; Water Bending; Healing; Herbal Summoning. Each one unique. Use them to help your clan." Her image wavered for a moment, then vanished in a small breeze. Waking up she looked to see the others still sleeping, pained looks on their faces.
